>Did I mention I’m being stalked by the Sacramento Bee?
I guess it’s actually whichever company they’ve hired to hawk their wares. They used to call twice a day until I reported them to the FCC. Of course, the FCC said they didn’t have enough evidence to investigate further and coincidentally enough, the phone calls have resumed.
Seriously, if you want people to subscribe to your paper, you might want to stop harassing them.

Just great! If I have to go for another two weeks without TV, I’m going to go nuts. Should I just call DirecTV now and pre-schedule an appointment? The dude who came out to fix my busted dish said the last storm generated about 5,000 service calls in the Sacramento area.
Also, can we get a name on this storm if the damn winds get to the Tropical Storm level? Totally not fair. If no one from the National Weather Service or the National Hurricane Center steps up, I’m it Non-Tropical Storm Bob.
