My favorite white wine is Maui Blanc. It tastes like chilled summertime. A hint of sweet pineapple while sitting on my sister’s deck as the delta breeze cools the baking air. Yes, I’m white trash enough to put an ice cube in white wine. I like my drinks icy cold. This lovely bottle was found at Cost Plus or as it’s now called World Market.
Does anyone else remember when Cost Plus wasn’t hip? It felt like a dusty warehouse full of random shit from all points of the globe. Pier One was a little like that before it became the poor man’s Pottery Barn.
