Can I go back to my regularly scheduled life now?

Yes, yes. I love Christmas, but I really need to get some stuff done. Maybe it’s just because I’ve had a lot going on over the past few months. Good changes, but really stressful nonetheless. I just want to get done with the festivities and get back to whatever normal might be right now.

By the way, did anyone else notice the large groups of people going out to dine last week? What’s up, Sacramento? My guess is that these were family members in town visiting who got cabin fever and needed to see some strangers to keep their collective sanity.

It’s kind of annoying. Sorry, but you all were cramping my style. I was trying to get back in regular life mode while everyone else was still in a holiday frame of mind.

I would have liked to be relaxed and merry, but I want to get on to the new year so I can find a new place to live. The holidays were poorly timed for me this year. But now, I can focus on the task at hand without the distraction of mistletoe and holly. It’s not that I’m bah humbug. I’m just busy.
