>Early today, I was trying to remember a positive historic event that occurred in my adult life. All I could think of were tragedies. It’s great that I finally have something positive to remember, something positive that we all helped create. I remember seeing Barack Obama speak at the 2004 Democratic Convention. He sounded like a President then. I’m glad to see that I was right.
I can barely imagine what it will be like to have a President who sounds like an educated adult when he speaks. For eight years we have been subjected to bumbling childishness trying to hide the evil behind it. It will be great to have a President who actually answers questions with intelligence.
Most of all, I have renewed faith in the American people. It had seemed that we were doomed to idiocy. Tonight, I have been proven wrong.
