For example, I live in a house with a garage and a yard which looks suburban, but is only a few miles from high rises. I don’t have to cross any bridges or take the freeway to get to work, if I don’t want to. Also, I can walk a few blocks or less and be at a restaurant for happy hour.
While I will always miss the fog and the vibe of San Francisco, I think Sacramento is beginning to grow on me. Now, I just have to figure out how to mentally deal with the crazy summer heat.
