>I like so many people have been annoyed by the incessant calls from the “Warranty Department”. They call my home, my cell and even my work number. The other day, I was feeling feisty and got one of those calls:
“This is a call from the Warranty Department about your vehicle…blah…blah…blah…Press One to speak with a representative about extending your warranty. Press Two to opt out of these calls.”
I pressed One.
“This is the Warranty Department. Are you interested in learning more about extending the warranty on your vehicle?”
“I’m sorry. What company is this?”
“Vehicle Warranty Department Company.”
“That’s the name of this company?”
“Sorry ma’am. We will remove you from our call list.” Click.
All I did was question the strange name of the company and suddenly the calls have stopped. Now if I could just get a hold of those “loan modification” people things might be a bit quieter!
