This is some campsite or resort along Highway 50. For as long as I can remember, those teepees have been there.
More scenery as we climb through the Sierras.
Our first view of the Tahoe Basin. The highway runs right along a steep cliff.
People rent out those buoys for $150 a month. The dock is privately owned. No other building sits behind it. Why you would want a dock by itself is beyond me.
I think this is the Truckee River.
Here are some strangers who don’t know I took their picture.
Did I mention that taking pictures was the only way for me to stay sane while traveling with my family? Hence the picture of the yellow flowers in the meadow.
This is the view from the cabin. Nothing like a glass of Merlot and a beautiful lake to finish off the day.
>Like the new look. cool pics. Especially liked the one of the strangers who didn’t know you took their pic…just kidding…my fav is the last…merlot and great view.
>Thanks. A great view will melt all your stress away.
