Amazon Prime Day is July 15 & 16, 2019. It can be overwhelming to try and comb through the thousands of deals available. Some deals are only for a short period of time, while others will simply sell out before the end of the Prime Day period.

Amazon Prime Day 2019 Deals Pro Tip
Since Prime Day 2019 starts on a Monday, it might behoove you to do a little pre-shopping. What I mean is get on the Amazon website this weekend and find the things you want to buy. Put them in your cart now and when Prime Day happens at 12:00 AM Pacific Time on July 15th, you can check to see what items have updated to a Prime Day deal.
Amazon Prime Day 2019 Deals on Electronics to Watch
The Amazon Fire TV Stick is available for $14.99 right now if you use Alexa to buy it. You know how you have those holiday parties where you have to buy a gift for under $20? This would be a gift that the receiver would actually enjoy. UPDATE 9:41 PM 7/14/19: You can get the $14.99 deal right now without Alexa. This link also includes a $45.00 Sling credit. Need a new tablet or e-reader? If you order this Fire 7 Tablet (16GB) by using Alexa, you can get it for $29.99! One of the great things about using a Fire Tablet is that you can borrow books from the library on it. But, you don’t have to actually go to the library to get or return the book. Want a tablet with a little more screen? I highly recommend the Fire HD 10 Tablet. It’s great for watching movies and TV when traveling. Not to mention that playing mobile games on it is AMAZING! For those of us who want a smart home, but live in apartments or just don’t want to bother with setting up an entire system just to turn off a light, the Wemo Smart Plug is the answer to our dreams. I like that you can set a timer and manage the plug while away from home via the Wemo app. Right now it’s $24.99. Update 7:53 PM 7/15/19: The price has dropped to $17.99!
Amazon Prime Day 2019 Deals on Household Items to Watch
Full disclosure: I don’t have a pressure cooker, but I kind of want one. I enjoy making things in my slow cooker. From what I’ve read/heard, a pressure cooker is basically the same thing, but faster. This 6 quart InstantPot is on sale right now for $59.99, which is the price of the 3 quart version. Keep an eye on this one! Update 7:56 AM 7/15/19: You can now get the InstantPot Duo Plus 60 6-quart version of this appliance for $55.99. The regular price is $129.95. Update 7:53 PM 7/15/19: The Plus version price has increased, but the 6-quart one pictured/mentioned above that is now $49.99!
Who doesn’t love tacos? Using regular plates with the crunchy tacos always results in spilled toppings. I really like these taco holders. Also, you should know that I always try to buy kitchen things that are dishwasher safe. I hate washing dishes by hand. These taco holders can easily go in the dishwasher. It also says you can use them on the grill, but I’m not sure who grills tacos. Maybe some genius can figure out a grill use for them? I sure can’t…mostly because I don’t have a grill. Right now they are on sale for $19.95 for a 4 pack.
Coffee is very important in my life, so I need to make sure I have it available every day. My husband doesn’t drink coffee, so a giant coffeemaker would just be a waste of money. Maybe I’m old school, but I prefer the taste of drip coffee. I love my 5-cup Black + Decker coffeemaker. It’s simple and doesn’t take up much space in the kitchen. Plus, I can control how strong I want my coffee, and I want my coffee strong. Right now the 5-cup coffeemaker is on sale for $14.79 Update 7:56 AM 7/15/19: Looks like the above coffeemaker sold out, but you can get this what looks like a more updated version of the 5-cup coffeemaker for $16.91.

Reading is another one of my passions. With my Kindle Unlimited subscription, I can blow through my Goodreads 2019 reading challenge at top speed. It’s also allowed me to discover lots of new authors as well as read some classics that I missed in school. But, it’s not just fiction. You can find self-help, how-to, and other pieces of non-fiction. It’s usually $9.99/month and you can cancel at any time. In the past, Amazon has had deals on some of their different subscriptions, so keep an eye on this one!
