LEGO Minifigures Series 16 are out! Actually, they came out at the end of July. At least, I saw a few blog posts about them dated July 31st, but LEGO didn’t officially release them until September. Whatever, I now present LEGO Minifigures Series 16 Bump Codes!
We found ours in mid-August at a Target. Usually, we get ours at the LEGO Store at the Mall of America so we can get VIP points for the purchase, but for whatever reason, they didn’t have any minifigures in stock for the last month.
Regardless, we found them all!
Please note, LEGO Minifigures Series 16 bump codes are not fool proof. They are merely a guide. I have heard that as time goes on, production runs change and so do the bump codes. It’s also possible that they vary from country to country or region to region within a country.
Feeling each bag for a specific minifigure results in a better rate of return. Of course, it takes time and patience.
LEGO Minifigures Series 16 Bump Codes: Arabian Knight
Things to feel for in the bag: His scimitar is a primary indicator that you have him. His turban can easily be confused with the bald pirate head, so be sure to find his scimitar.
LEGO Minifigures Series 16 Bump Codes: Archer
Feel for the bow and arrow, his hood, and his quiver. Usually, the bow and arrow will do it for you though.
LEGO Minifigures Series 16 Bump Codes: Arctic Photographer
This guy comes with a little penguin, which is easy to feel in the bag. His hood and camera are pretty good indicators of his being in the bag you are holding.
LEGO Minifigures Series 16 Bump Codes: Babysitter
The pigtails and baby’s body in this bag are the things I found easiest to discern. That sounds kinda creepy.
LEGO Minifigures Series 16 Bump Codes: Banana Suit Guy
The Banana Suit Guy was the easiest one to find because his banana is really easy to feel in the bag. It makes the bag look oddly lumpy. No puns intended?
LEGO Minifigures Series 16 Bump Codes: Boxer
While the helmet thingy was easy to feel in the bag, you should also try to feel for the arms because the boxing gloves are attached to her arms.
LEGO Minifigures Series 16 Bump Codes: Cyborg
The vest or main body part of the cyborg was easy to feel. Also, you can probably feel for her ray gun if you aren’t sure what’s in the bag.
LEGO Minifigures Series 16 Bump Codes: Dog Show Champion
When I saw this on the LEGO website, I immediately thought of that SNL sketch with Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon. Dog Show! Sorry, moving on… The trophy and the dog are the items you should be trying to feel for in the bag. Once you feel one or both of them, you’re good to go.
LEGO Minifigures Series 16 Bump Codes: Goth Guy
Speaking of SNL, this guy reminds me of Azrael Abyss. Do the kids today even still do the goth thing? Never mind… This guy has a book and a spider. That’s pretty much all you need to feel for in the bag.
LEGO Minifigures Series 16 Bump Codes: Hiker
The compass, map, and back pack are how you figure out if this guy is in your bag.
LEGO Minifigures Series 16 Bump Codes: Ice Queen
Ok, I’ve never seen Frozen, so that’s the only reference to the movie you’re going to get in this post. The ice queen has no legs, so if you feel her triangular skirt, you’re on the right track. Her icicle shots are easily felt too, but could be confused with a sword.
LEGO Minifigures Series 16 Bump Codes: Little Imp/Cute Little Devil
We confused this guy with the Penguin Boy. We had been standing around for a while and somehow confused the wings for Penguin Boy’s flippers. Regardless, the pumpkin and the trident are a really good way to be sure you do have the Cute Little Devil or Little Imp as my husband calls him.
LEGO Minifigures Series 16 Bump Codes: Mariachi
The bump code on the Mariachi was weird. The blue arrow shows a spot I marked and I’m not really sure if that qualifies as a “bump.” Then again, you should be able to feel for the Mariachi’s hat and guitar pretty easily. I would go by that in this case.
LEGO Minifigures Series 16 Bump Codes: Penguin Boy
The key to Penguin Boy is his flippers and headgear. They aren’t super easy to feel for unless you get lucky and find him on your first few tries. As you can see, his ice skates are separate, so you should be able to feel them too.
LEGO Minifigures Series 16 Bump Codes: Pirate
As you can see the Pirate has a sword and a map. His bald had is a good indicator too, but all of these things can be easily confused for other things. Make sure he has legs and rule out the other things above that might be easily confused for the Pirate.
LEGO Minifigures Series 16 Bump Codes: Spy
When we were out looking at Target, there were a ton of these guys. The night vision goggles and rope were the parts that easily could be felt in the bag.
Remember, as always, the bump codes are merely a guide and are not fool proof. Plus, it’s me trying to determine what is a bump and what isn’t. Using the feeling method is the best way to guess at what’s in the LEGO Minifigures Series 16 bags.
