>Supposedly, a pretty decent sized storm is headed for California. Aside from about 20 minutes of intense rain and wind about three hours ago, Sacramento hasn’t seen much action. It’s been dark and dreary all day. The news has been scaring the crap out of me. They are predicting winds in the 25 to 40 mile per hour range tonight and tomorrow. I’m hoping that it doesn’t pan out.

One good thing, they are predicting like 7 to 10 feet of snow up at the peaks in the mountains. That should take care of any drought worries. Unfortunately, they are also predict 100 mile per hour winds at those same elevations. I was supposed to be up at Lake Tahoe this weekend, but our trip got pushed back until next week. It will be interesting to see if the 2 to 5 feet of snow gets dumped at the Lake level.

Crap, I think I just saw Jim Cantore talking about the storm on the Weather Channel. That can’t be good.
