The holidays are upon us, people! Are you ready? Have you begun your Christmas list? The annual burst of merchantry has already landed on TV and in stores arrayed in reds and greens.
Do you know anyone who actually goes to those after Thanksgiving sales? I’m all for bargains, but standing in line at 4:00 am in the freezing cold for an hour just for the possibility of a free Nerf football with Mervyn’s printed on the side of it is just a bit crazy.
The local news always ogles these people. I’ll sit in the warm comfort of my home watching the riots at Wal-mart over the new Nintendo Wii and Playstation 3 at rock bottom prices.
