>I’m sitting in the McCarran Airport with about 30 minutes to go before my flight and I am not only typing on my computer, but I am surfing the Internet. Isn’t technology amazing? Actually, I shouldn’t be doing either of these things because I tend to focus on my writing and reading so much that I lose track of my surroundings. This isn’t good since someone could come up and grab one of my carry-ons. Plus, feeling very out of it from a combination of hormones and hangover doesn’t help either. I feel like I’m going to puke, but I’m not sure if it’s the cramps or the dehydration that’s causing it.

I like going on vacation, but there’s no place like home. I’m not ready to get back to work, but I’m ready to sleep in my own bed. The airport isn’t as crazy as I thought it would be. Last year, it took us at least 20 minutes just to get through the line to the security. This year I think it took 20 minutes to check in, change our flight, check our bags, go through security and get to the gate. Heck, I didn’t even have to take off my shoes at the security checkpoint.
