>The NFL’s ban on Super Bowl parties didn’t put a damper on my day. Most places had invitation only parties for their high rollers or “invited guests”. Since my gambling budget is in the $100 range, I had to fend for myself. We ended up going to a local casino (Gold Coast) where they had a few small ballrooms set up with giant screens, tables, and chairs to enjoy the game. It was free to sit in there and watch the game. The only draw back was after the game it was tough to get a taxi, since we weren’t on the Strip.
