>Growing up I always heard some variation of “If you live under my roof, you live by my rules.” Of course, that applied to children with whom parents shared chromosomes. I’ve got a new rule for the newer types of families:
“If you aren’t paying for for the bills on a regular basis, you don’t get to make the rules.”
Not as catchy, but more applicable to today’s less than “nuclear” families. Any stay at home moms, if there are any left out there, can use the old catch phrase.
And yes, it’s almost eight years since 2000 and I’m still calling it the new millennium.
