>The 90s were a bad theme to pick. There aren’t that many good pop songs. Heck, half the songs people sang last night I didn’t even know. Someone should have done something by Alice in Chains or Soundgarden. Maybe the lowest common denominator wouldn’t approve. I guess I should just be happy no one busted out with the Dave Matthews.
I don’t understand the comment Simon made about Bo Bice’s rendition of Remedy. Personally, I thought it was pretty good. I’ve never heard that song (or any other Black Crowes song) at a wedding before. That would be one cool wedding. Usually you are subjected to Celebration, YMCA, and the Chicken Dance.
I won’t even comment on the country songs.
Paula Abdul was drunk again. I really don’t understand why someone doesn’t intervene for her. She needs help. I guess she’s a happy drunk, so unless she gets all belligerent and starts beating up on Anwar, no one is going to worry.
>I’ve got $20 on Nadia Turner. You can bet at Bodog.com.
>I’m just pulling for Paula, Surely, there’s a new development deal in the wings for her.
I could write an entire sit-com around her attempt to re-connect with America through American Idol. It seems so obvious what she’s doing!
>I don’t watch American Idol, but I do like your writing.. You crack me up! Keep up the good work.
