The best episode (or worst) was the Snapping Turtle Battle. Holy crap it was wrong! The turtles were LIVE when they brought them out. Unlike the lobsters (that get boiled alive) these things were cut up and deshelled while they were still moving! Turtle slaughter! I think I’m still traumatized by it.
Ok, not really, but it was gnarly nevertheless. I still can’t believe the Food Network ran the episode. I don’t think it’s been on since.

>fukui-san 🙂 I used to love that show. Some were hard to watch though especially when the battle food moved like the turtle one and the eel one.

The Tuna one was pretty bad too. The way the one guy hollowed out the face of the tuna…cheek meat! Yum!
