>I really hate those voice recognition things when you call an 800 number like Fed Ex or your bank. If you are in a somewhat noisy place, they are useless. It keeps saying, “I’m sorry. I didn’t understand what you just said.” I can’t imagine what it must be like for people with any type of accent.
It’s much less hassle to just press 1 for checking or 2 for savings. Or better yet, transfer me to a live human being I can vent my frustrations on. I know it’s not the fault of the person on the other end. I just need therapy and yelling at them really helps. I usually try to end it on a nicer note and apologize if I get really bitchy. I’m frustrated, not mean.
Most of the time I am pretty easygoing, certain things will set me off though. Like when I can’t access the money I spent the last 40 hours of my life earning. I tend to get a bit emotional about that.
