>What the hell?!? Some guy making a presentation at Career Day at a middle school told the kids (and printed on brochures) that being a stripper is a feasible a career choice. Isn’t the reason we all go to school so that we don’t have to end up in a job like being a stripper? No sane woman dreams of becoming a stripper as a little girl. I think of stripping as something women resort to when they are desperate for money and can’t find any other suitable legal means of supporting themselves.
And what else pisses me off about this is that he didn’t talk about how much money guys can make at stripping. Apparently he only has experience with female strippers and felt the need to share that with a bunch of 8th graders.
I’m not saying that kids should be sheltered from everything in the world their whole lives, but these kids just barely stopped playing with Barbie dolls and Matchbox cars a year or two ago. I mean it’s one thing if an accidental boob flash is seen on TV, but it’s a whole other when someone is extolling the virtues of stripping at career day!
>hey you stole my post! but darn, it’s a good one, aint it?
