So, those are books!

It’s funny that in this age of digital information, I find myself needing to go to a library.  Anyone who says libraries are a thing of the past clearly hasn’t wanted to read an obscure book about various periods of history. 

I remember hanging out at the library as a tween.   It was one of the few places a girl of 12 could safely escape her parents and be with her friends and whatever boy she might have a crush on that week.  OK, once in a while I actually checked out a book.

It should also be noted that the library was across the street from a Foster’s Freeze, so it was easy to slip out the door and get a chocolate dipped cone with said friends.
