>Spring has sprung and it’s about time!

That wonderful feeling is finally back in the air. You know what I’m talking about.  You come home from work and it’s still sunny out.  Today, I dug out the flip flops and cute sandals.  I even painted my toenails bright pink.

The energy feels lighter in Sacramento, like everyone is breathing a sigh of relief.  We’re so happy to see the sun again.  People are smiling as they look outside instead of sighing in exasperation.  Yes, it’s great that all of that rain pushed us out of the drought and we can go back to our wasting ways this summer, but Northern California is a much happier place when the sun is shining.

I just noticed.  I’m sitting on the couch and not shivering because I’m freezing to death.  I had completely forgotten what it was like to be comfortable without the use of the heater.  Of course, in a month I’ll probably be complaining because it’s too hot.  Well, maybe two months, but I’ll try to keep my trap shut about that and remember the long cold winter.
