Confession: I’ve never been on a bar crawl or pub crawl as it is now fashionably known. I’m sure you’ve heard of these moveable feasts…well, I guess they are more like moveable Oktoberfest?
Either way, a large group of people (some friends, some strangers) descend on an area of town where a bunch of watering holes are within walking distance of each other. They go en masse from place to place. This isn’t a flashmob with alcohol. It’s a well-organize ensemble.
It just so happens that on April 28th, one of these crawls, Raise Pints to Raise Hope, will be moving around midtown in Sacramento to benefit Save Ourselves, a breast cancer organization headquartered here in Sacramento.
100% of your donations from ticket sales go directly to Save Ourselves. Print your ticket at home (or download the Eventbrite app on your smartphone!) and bring it to any of the participating bars between 8pm and midnight to get access to drink specials offered exclusively to Raise Pints to Raise Hope participants.
What bars will you be able to go to on this crawl? I’m so glad you asked… These fine establishments are involved in the Raise Pints to Raise Hope Crawl:

- Golden Bear (24th and K)
- Level Up Lounge (25th and J)
- River Rock Tap House (24th and J)
- Monsoon (16th and K)
- The Depot
- Hoppy Brewing Co (63rd and Folsom)
Also Sac Town Hopper will be offering $5 unlimited rides through downtown all night.
So, you buy a ticket. That money goes to charity. You take your ticket to the above bars and you get drink specials…on a weekend!
