>The Bee ran an interesting article about a local blogger.

The article made me wonder…How many words does it take to make a story? More than the number of licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop, that’s sure.

I don’t think it’s a matter of words. It’s how many sentences. If it’s just words, then every tweet is a story, every craigslist ad is a story (which is what the Hemingway “story” looked like). A story is a construct with specific parts, like a plot. While I applaud the guy’s effort and creativity, I disagree that a story can be so short. Poetry, yes. A story? No. Plus, I’ve never been a fan of Hemingway, so I’m a little biased.
