When it was called Groundhog Day starring Bill Murray.
The movie: He’s having the worst day of his life… over, and over…
The TV Show: Did you ever have a day so bad you couldn’t wait to get past it? The kind of day nothing goes your way, and everything turns out wrong. What would happen if you couldn’t put this day behind you…literally?
I’m pretty sure Taye Diggs won’t be saying, “Don’t drive angry.” or “This is one time where television really fails to capture the true excitement of a large squirrel predicting the weather.”
Someone alert Harold Ramis. He’s been ripped off by Disney and I won’t stand for it!
>what? what the shit is this? oh god, this is awful!
>Seriously, who thought Daybreak would be a good idea?
>I saw the commercial and was all WTF? Fer reals? Wasn’t this a Bill Murray movie?
>When I saw the ads for it when Taye Diggs tells her “i’m reliving this day over and over”, she acts all suprised. She must have seen Groundhog Day and the many other drama shows that have paid homage to it (the x-files “monday”) to name one. Not even going to waste my time with that. We should all watch Groundhog Day every Mon night when that stupid show is on instead.
>Maybe in another 30 years the idea might have some merit, but until then let’s all enjoy the comic genius of Bill Murray.
