OK, Socrates, how the hell does one stop watching the proverbial pot, so it can boil?
I’m just frustrated. It just seems that I’ve been subjected to quite a bit of rejection lately and I’m not taking it well. I know I should think more positively. Dating has always been challenging for me. I have no freaking clue what to do and feel like someone forgot to include that in my education as a child. I need to figure out a way to change my mind about it.

I thought his friend was good looking and had his life together. Three months later after another throw-away relationship I wanted to see him again, so I searched through my old paper cell phone records to find the number from that night. I called him up, asked if he remembered me and after a few dates, that was that.
So I say: Sometimes you have to be aggressive and possibly a little bit crazy to get what you want. Keep at it. If you sit around at home waiting for a handsome, successful, generous, kind, loving man to fall in your lap, chances are it won't happen. It sucks you've had some bad dates lately, but I hope you keep trying. You're a cool chica. 🙂
