This should really be my mom’s warning label. She tried to tell me that I have a problem with anger. This is coming from the lady I call “Mount Vesuvius”. If I have an anger problem, I picked it up from her. She taught me everything I know. Personally, I take the Sesame Street approach to anger. Am I the only one who remembers that weird little goat cartoon talking about getting mad? It ain’t bad to get mad.
>The only caprinate song I remember is:
Once there was a little old ram
Thought he could punch a hole in a dam
No one could make that ram scram
He kept punching that dam
But he had
He put snow up his nose and felt no pain.
Okay, maybe the chorus isn’t correct, but you get my drift
>I love that goat cartoon. It is referenced by me, my mom and my sis all the time. We even sing excerpts of the song to further illustrate our point 🙂 We used to think it was “anybody get mad” for years. Recently my sis found a website with sesame street soundbites and that’s when we learned it’s really “it ain’t bad to get mad”.
>BP I think I heard that song on Seasame Street once.
Or was that 42nd Street? Hmm…
