>Movie Review: Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows

>If you are looking for some action this weekend, and I don’t necessarily mean the dating kind, go see this movie. It’s a great escape. There’s action, but it’s not so much that you’re going, OK, get on with the story dammit. There was a lot going on and I think I need to see it again to catch all the nuances I missed.

Granted, I kind of love Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law mixes well with him. I started liking Jude Law when he did the voiceover for the Lemony Snicket’s movie. Anyone? Just me?

Also, there is just something about the movies that Guy Ritchie makes that I like. They seem really male without being stupid. Don’t get me wrong. Chick flicks/romantic comedies can be stupid too, which is why I’ve sworn them off.

While nothing will compare to my love for Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, this movie was good.

However, I wonder, what is Guy Ritchie’s obsession with gypsies?

My favorite person in the movie though was Stephen Fry. He plays Sherlock Holmes’ brother and he is hilarious. I think that’s what I like best about Guy Ritchie’s movies…the comic relief. It’s breaks up the action so you don’t get overloaded, but it doesn’t slow down the pace so much that you get bored.
