LEGO minifigures bump codes series 13 (Part 1)

LEGO minifigures series 13 bump codesOn Saturday, we went to our usual LEGO Store at the Mall of America to get the newest LEGO Minifigures Series 13. Apparently, we should have gone the day they came out because the pickings were slim. Usually they have a pretty big bin full of the mystery packs. This time there was one small bin and it was only half full if that.

So, needless to say, we don’t yet have all of the bump codes for this series, but we do have  10 of them. Also, I point out what to feel for on each bag to find a specific character.

LEGO minifigures series 13 bump codes:

For the Alien Trooper, you will easily be able to feel that disc thing on his ray gun. Even though there wasn’t much to choose from, I swear I felt at least 10 of those things.

Carpenter-BumpCodes

The board will be the easiest thing to feel in the Carpenter’s bag. Also try to find the saw too just to make sure you’re not confusing it with one of the characters with a sword.

EgyptianWarrior-BumpCodes

There are quite a few swords in this collection of LEGO minifigures. The Egyptian Warrior has a shield which is uniquely shaped sort of like home plate on a baseball diamond.

Fencer-BumpCodes

So, as I was working on this image of the Fencer, I noted that I might have missed a bump. I suppose you could blame it on the crappy lighting conditions caused by Minnesota winters. I guess next time I should sit under the bright lights of our dining table that double as lighting for these photos. Either way, Click on the image to get a better look at the bumps.

GalaxyTrooper-Bump-CodesOddly enough, the Galaxy Trooper has guns and not swords. You should be able to feel both guns and the holder for them too. However, this is the only minifigure with two guns, so if you find them and not the holder, you’re good to go.

Goblin-BumpCodes

The Goblin has a big old bag (not sure if it’s brand new) and a chunky sword. Both of these things should be easy to feel in the bag. Of course, I always get paranoid about feeling the bags. Or maybe it’s just overwhelmingly bored for a second, because initially it all feels the same, but if I calm down, I can usually find something inside that doesn’t feel like the black square base.

LadyCyclops-BumpCodes

The Lady Cyclops minifigure has a big chunky club that should be easy to feel.

Paleontologist-BumpCodes

Somehow, a Target up in Minot, ND had these LEGO minifigures available before their actual release date. You can see the Paleontologist here in my instagram feed. Anyway, The way to feel for the Paleontologist is to find the bone and the fossil. Also, her hat and ponytail are easy to feel through the bag.

Side Note: I wonder if paleontologists giggle at the people who eat paleo diets?

Sheriff-BumpCodes

In the Mall of America LEGO Store, the Sheriff was about as prevalent as the Alien Trooper. I felt the mustache ring, the hat and the Wanted sign very easily.

SnakeCharmer-BumpCodes

So of course, the Snake Charmer has a snake and it’s the easiest thing to feel in the bag. I honestly tried to figure out a way to write about feeling for the snake that didn’t come out dirty, but there really is no way. Of course, I did think of that Badger, badger, badger video.

So, what did we not get? The unicorn guy, the guy who looks like Ming the Merciless from Flash Gordon, the Disco Diva, Hot Dog guy, Samurai gal, and the King (not of town).

I really wanted the Hot Dog guy because he reminds me of the Gaseous Wiener when Conan was doing Late Night with Conan O’Brien.

Seriously, could I make a few more completely random connections to LEGOs? Probably.

EDITED TO ADD: Here is the second part of the LEGO minifigures series 13 bump codes.

Thank you so much for your visuals! I had heard about bump codes and seen charts but had no idea what that meant until I came across your blog entry for Series 12. Using your guide for both methods we got we wanted so far for both series.

I just wanted to let you know that I grabbed a pack today and felt it and knew instantly that I had the Hot Dog Guy. It’s about an 1.5 inches by 1/2 inch and feels like a rounded block, with an opening. It has a dot on the right like the Egyptian Warrior, and on the left, ther are two dots, similar to the Alien Trooper, but the first dot is about an an inch in. The spacing between the left two dots are the same distance from each other as the Alien, though.
