>As I recently confessed on Twitter, Easter is pretty much just a reason to eat as much candy as I want without the guilt. It’s big candy holiday number 1 for me, although Halloween gives Easter a run for its money…golden wrapped chocolate money.
But, Easter has some of my favorite candy only available during its festival period. No, not Peeps, which incidentally are available during Halloween. Cadbury Creme Eggs are tops on my list. They are like chocolate wrapped crack. And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, the Caramel Egg came out.
Then of course, there is the Cadbury Mini Eggs. Yes, I know they are basically matte M&Ms, but something about that dusty candy coated shell really does it for me.
There is one Easter treat that has been elusive. Technically, it’s not candy. It’s a toasted coconut wrapped marshmallow. It’s my favorite non-chocolate sweet.
I found them at Target one year and have been looking for them ever since. Never have I seem them back at Target nor in any grocery store in Sacramento. There are a few stores I haven’t checked because I’m not really a fan of them, but my craving for the sweet goodness might overcome my dislike of those bastions of commerce.
