>I just remembered why I never really watched this Rankin Bass classic. It’s kind of scary and drab. And there’s really appealing characters in the whole show. Which is pretty sad considering Santa Claus is one of the characters. And don’t get me started on the songs. Can you even name one song (aside from the theme song) from that show? It just doesn’t have the absurd appeal of The Year Without a Santa.
