All homemade from scratch. I haven’t baked this much in a good 10 years. Usually, I just make one batch of cookies (the raspberry almond pinwheels in the upper right-hand corner). I was feeling especially creative these past few days. I can’t tell you how much candy and goodies we had at the office over the past two weeks. I swear I have gained 10 pounds in the last two weeks. We had five 2 pound boxes of See’s candy, a box of fancy chocolate covered cookies, a box of truffles, a jar of Reese’s Peanut Butter Bells, and three Harry & David Holiday Gift Tower things. I am pretty sure I am borderline diabetic now.

    >Every year, I look forward to making cookies with the fam. And every year, about a half hour into it, I’m sick of it and just want to be done. Three hours later, when all’s said and done, I never want to see another cookie again.

    >Indy – That happened to me twice last week.

Chris – It’s better to bake/cook solo. Then again, I’m a control freak.

Anon – Right on! Give me a call we’ll see if we can’t hook up. I’m baking some brownies today.
