>Fall officially begins on Wednesday. Is this everyone’s favorite season or just mine? What’s there not to love? Football, Halloween, and Thanksgiving are just a few reasons people come together to hang out. Finally, I won’t be sweating just because I went outside or I’m too poor to turn up the air conditioning. I can ignore my pedicure. Sorry, but I hate having to paint my toes and I don’t trust anyone else to do it.
While I don’t like the early darkness, it’s nice to have an excuse to curl up on the couch and watch a movie. I can’t wait to be able to sleep well. Waking up drenched in sweat is no fun at all. As dangerous as it might be, I can indulge my love of baking without fretting about the heat. Then of course there are the beautiful leaves. Sacramento’s foliage is pretty good, of course it doesn’t really come close to New England.
