>The new year gets people thinking about what’s going on in their lives, re-evaluation is at an all time high. Yes, it’s sort of arbitrary because at any point you can decide to make a change in your life. You don’t have to wait for the calendar to change to a nice clean date. Personally, I’m always trying to figure out how to make things better in my life regardless of the time of year.
Never in my life have I thought that being in a relationship would complete me. Has anyone really had this thought or is it something writers made up to sell their stories? How can someone be incomplete? Do they only have half a brain or something?
Obviously, I’m a whole person who enjoys her life. What I need is someone to hang out with, someone to enrich the good life I already have, someone to be a companion. I need human interaction and connection. To put it bluntly, I need a relationship because I’m bored and lonely. If that’s a bad reason to want to be in a committed relationship, then so be it. I’ve been single for most of my life and it’s been fine looking back on it, but now I’m so over this status.
The saga continues and hopefully has a happy plot change soon. Who will be my first date of the new year? Stay tuned.
